SPECIFIC RULES FOR T-BALL


1. One umpire per field.

2. Coin toss before each game determines home team.

3. One hour time limit or five innings per game whichever comes first.

4. All players will play in the field and bat.

5. Five runs or three outs will constitute one half inning.

6. Score will not be kept during regular season. There will be a tournament at the end of regular season.

7. Bottom half of last inning may be played with batting team ahead if time permits.

8. A player during the first two weeks of the season will be issued a warning for slinging bat. After the two week period player will be called out for slinging bat. Ball will be called dead.

9. No infield fly.

10. Anytime the ball is hit past the circle, it will be a hit. Balls that do not go past the circle are foul. Batted balls that do not go past the circle and were not hit by a full swing may not be considered a bunt and the batter is called out. Three strikes and batter is out. (Batter can not be called out on a foul on third strike.)

11. Must have at least 8 players to play. 9th player will be an automatic out.

12. Once an inning starts you cannot the fielders’ positions.

13. Pitcher has to have foot on rubber until ball is hit.

14. Two coaches are allowed in the outfield when team is on defense.

15. Reduced injury factor ball will be used.

16. Only five players allowed on the infield. The rest of the players have to play in the outfield. Infielders cannot go past pitching rubber until ball is hit.

17. Bases are 60 ft apart.

18. Pitcher’s mound is 35ft. from home plate.

19. No base stealing.

20. The pitching circle will be a (3) foot radius from the center of the pitching rubber. Time will be called when a player has the ball within this circle.

21. There will be a line drawn from homeplate, halfway between first base and the pitchers rubber. Any ball that is hit between the line and first base line, the runner can be tagged out. Any ball that is picked up on the pitchers side of the line, the ball would have to be thrown to first.

22. Runners cannot advance on an overthrow.
