General Rules


1. No alcohol or any tobacco are allowed on the field at any time.

2. Trash barrels will be in your dugouts. Please use them..

3. There will be no bat boys or bat girls except on major league and babe ruth league fields.

4. A game is forfeited after 10 minutes has elapsed past the scheduled starting time. This means that if your game is scheduled to start at 6:00 then if you don’t have enough players by 6:10 you will forfeit. Also if the game ahead of yours runs over your players still must be present by 6:10 not ten minutes after the finish of the game in front of you.

5. Good sportsmanship is expected from coaches, players, and parents. Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their fans.

6. Rule books are available for all coaches. All leagues will follow the rule books except where noted in these general and specific rules.

7. If a player misses practice, the coach has the option to not play the player. Penalty for infraction of this rule is in the rule book. Parents should be notified one day prior.

8. If a player is ejected from a ballgame, he will sit out that game and the next scheduled game. This also applies to coaches.

9. The bottom half of the last inning may be played with batting team ahead if time permits.

10. Runners may tag up and advance on a fly ball at their own risk.

11. Umpires will call time if player is injured and place runners as he feels proper.

12. Every child will play atleast 2 innings in the field and bat once each game except (babe ruth). If a child does not play 2 innings in the field and bat at least once, then they will start the next game. If a child does not play his two innings and the game plays out in 6 innings than the coach will forfeit the game if it is protested. Any playing time not given a child will be added to what he gets the next game.

13. Warm up time, if time permits.

14. Coaches are responsible for signing book: if they don’t, they accept book as is.

15. No jewelry may be worn by players onto the field-male or female.

16. On deck batter will wear a helmet.

17. The 3rd out in the bottom of an inning is start of next inning. (example:if someone strikes out and there is one minute left to play in the game, then the next inning will commence. A team can not take their time getting on field to try and run the clock.

18. Once and inning begins, it has to be completed as long as the losing team has the chance to win or tie.

19. To protest a ballgame: (A) protest verbally to the umpire at the time of the conflict and pay a $25.00protest fee. If the protect turns out to be valid then the coach will have his money returned to him.

20. There will be score keepers for every league except T-Ball. All other leagues have to put their own scorekeeper in the box. Home team keep official book and Visitor keep score board.

21. A player may be called out for slinging bat after they have been warned.

22. If a coach pulls his team off the field in an un sports manlike manner ”such as disagreeing with umpire” he is immediately relieved as the coach for the remainder of the season. He cannot coach any sport until the executive, athletic, and board approve him to do so.

23. If a coach forfeits a league game in order to play tournament ball the same penalty as rule 22 applies.
